Emergency alert systems are something I have a fascination with and have always wanted to create a mock type video. For this being my final major project for my UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma In Creative Media Production & Technology and my final project at Bradford College, I wanted to challenge myself to create a film by using as little footage as possible and instead focus on the creation of graphics.
With my passion of following brand guidelines and recreation of official graphics as close as possible, this was a great test of my skills. Having the freedom to create my own services and branding while following the rules of the Lambie-Nairn era BBC style was a really interesting challenge to face and much harder to pull off to a convincing degree.
